ARCHITECTURAL EXECUTIVE (DATA CENTER)

Job Summary:
Assist project lead in Data Center design / Documentation efforts for on-going and potential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in furthering company’s project portfolio for Data Centre Projects;
• Work closely with Team Leaders to highlight discrepancies in drawings or lacking areas to ensure smooth delivery of project;
• Liaises with contractors and consultants on work site;
• Reviews shop drawings, RFI, material samples, method statement, etc
• Liaises with design team on design, coordination issues;
• Attends meetings with design team and coordinates with all desciplines involved in projects (e.g. architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical, interior design and landscaping);
• Coordinates site inspection and authority clearances;
• Oversees and monitor progress of on-site work and resolves any arising issues;
• Model design review / revise layout and documentation submission (Revit program);

Qualifications:

• Possesses minimum 3-10 years of relevant experience in Data Centre / Industrial Projects
• Possesses good and fundamental understanding of Engineering concepts for Data Centre / Industrial related projects would be advantages
• Familiar with TIA/ Uptime Design Requirements and Data Center / Data Hall Planning would be advantages
• Graduated with a recognized Degree in Architecture
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
• Knowledge of computer 3D and presentation programmes such as AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup
• Flair in design, ability to sketch fast and produce good design concepts
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.
• Really good in Industry authority submission process for IEAT is a plus.
