Senior interior designer

We are an interior design & build firm specializing in work spaces & offices for large multinational companies.
Job brief:
      We are looking for an artful senior interior designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
     Managing the entire design process, from initial concept and space planning to material selection, FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and construction administration.  

Client Collaboration:
Working closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, and presenting design proposals and concepts.  

Team Management:
     Supervising and mentoring junior designers, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.  

Design Development:
     Creating detailed design plans, including drawings, specifications, and renderings, ensuring they are accurate and meet project requirements.  

Budget and Timeline Management:
     Ensuring projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeline, managing costs and resources effectively.  

Stakeholder Coordination:
     Collaborating with architects, contractors, vendors, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless project execution.  

Trend Awareness:
     Staying up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into projects.  

Quality Assurance:
     Ensuring all design work meets high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.  

Required Skills and Experience:
Design Expertise:
     Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning, materials, and FF&E.  
Technical Proficiency:
     Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.  
Communication Skills:
     English & Thai/ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.  
Project Management Skills:
     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.  
Leadership Skills:
     Ability to lead and motivate a team, provide guidance, and foster a positive work environment.  
Problem-Solving Skills:
     Ability to identify and resolve design challenges and make sound decisions.  
Experience:
     Typically requires 5-7 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.  
Education:
     A bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field is usually required.

Employment Details:
· Working hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 6 pm.
