THE 2026 LIVE DESIGN DISCOURSE WORKSHOP IN MALAYSIA (LDD2026)

The Foreign Affairs Department of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) is pleased to announce the 2026 architectural workshop through a series of the Live Design Discourse (LDD) program. We invite young architecture professionals and architecture students to register and submit your application.
ABOUT LIVE DESIGN DISCOURSE (LDD):
LDD is one of the Four-Nation activities, initiated since 2017 in collaboration with the architecture institutes of 4 countries consisting of ASA of Thailand, Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI), Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), and Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM).
LDD aims to be a forum that brings together architecture students and young practitioners among alliance nations to encourage the exchange of knowledge, experience, and culture, and strengthen the bonds of architectural collaboration between the four countries through workshop camp.
1 Mentor and 4 Students from each Member Institute Delegation will participate onsite, as well as a team of local experts. Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate with international fellow students.

APPLICATION:
- 1 Mentor from architectural practitioner aged under 40 years old, talent for design, charismatic. Each Mentor must submit a report to ASA withing 2 weeks after the event.
- 4 Architectural students (2 Male and 2 Female Students) Ranging from year 3 to Master’s level which are study in Thailand nationwide, shall represent Thailand as ASA official delegates to participate in this edition of Four-Nation Live Design Discourse Workshop. The Criterion reflects emerging voices in contemporary architectural practice, enabling dynamic engagement with participants while fostering mentorship that is both relevant and relatable.
- Participation at no cost. All Thailand delegates’ travel and accommodation cost will be covered by ASA.
- ASA invites you to submit a statement (max. 1000 words) of purpose in English, identifying objectives and goals for participation.
- Must submit a full Curriculum Vitae (not exceeding three pages), including a description of relevant working experience together with portfolio.
