We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead and manage interior design projects from concept to completion. This role involves developing innovative designs, overseeing project teams, and collaborating with clients to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of design principles and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Development:
◦ Create and present comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, and layouts.
◦ Develop space planning, furniture layouts, and detailed designs based on client requirements.
◦ Select materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting to align with project objectives.
2. Client Collaboration:
◦ Engage with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
◦ Present design proposals and address client feedback to ensure satisfaction.
◦ Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Project Management:
◦ Lead and oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
◦ Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of designs.
◦ Manage procurement and track progress to maintain project schedules.
4. Team Leadership:
◦ Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their growth and development.
◦ Delegate tasks effectively and review work for quality and consistency.
◦ Promote collaboration and inspire creativity within the design team.
5. Technical Expertise:
◦ Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for construction and installation.
◦ Stay updated on building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability practices.
◦ Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other industry tools.
6. Trend Awareness:
◦ Stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and innovative design solutions.
◦ Incorporate cutting-edge concepts and techniques into design projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects. Shopping mall / retail environment design experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). Able to use Revit is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. English proficiency is a plus
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
