CAD Designer

We are looking for a CAD Designer / CAD Draftsman to support our interior design team in preparing accurate technical drawings and documentation for interior design projects. The candidate will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, coordinating with designers, and ensuring that all drawings follow project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
• Develop interior construction drawings based on design concepts and instructions from the design team.
• Update drawings according to design revisions and project requirements.
• Prepare drawing packages for tender and construction.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications.
• Maintain drawing organization and file management.
• Work closely with interior designers, project managers, and consultants.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Assist in resolving technical drawing issues during design development.
• Check drawings for accuracy, scale, and consistency.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project guidelines

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in CAD drafting for interior or architectural projects.
• Experience preparing construction detail drawings (not only presentation drawings)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Understanding millwork / built-in furniture drawings
• Ability to read and understand English (for reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents).
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced design environment.
