ASA Architect Members Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee Win Prestigious Global Awards
The Aluminum Grotto and Public Ground in Thailand, designed by The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage members, ASA architects Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee of HAS Design and Research, has earned multiple prestigious global awards. These include the Winner of the Golden Trezzini Award 2024 in Russia, the Honoree of the Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Award 2024 in the USA, and the Merit Award at the DFA Design for Asia Awards 2024 in Hong Kong.
These distinguished awards recognize the project’s exceptional design, which seamlessly integrates Thai cultural heritage with contemporary living. The Aluminum Grotto and Public Ground create a meaningful connection between traditional and modern ways of life, set within the lush natural landscapes and vibrant green spaces that define Thailand’s evolving urban environment.
Developed by architects Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee of HAS Design and Research, in collaboration with The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, the project stands as a testament to the architects’ vision and expertise in blending tradition with modernity. This global recognition highlights the innovative approach taken in the design and further underscores the growing significance of Thailand’s architectural scene on the world stage.
