Interior Designer (Retail/Commercial)

The Interior Designer will work within our interior design and multidisciplinary teams on international projects, including retail malls, mixed-use developments, offices, food and beverage, hospitality, experiential retail environments, special concept shops, restaurants, unique food and beverage designs, and more.

The successful candidate will be highly versatile and have degree qualifications in interior design and related fields of furniture, industrial design, or other fields. The position demands strong conceptual and visualization skills, working within our teams, to provide the highest level of innovative, creative design services, as well as technical input for documentation and construction stage design coordination.

Responsibilities

·       Provide creative, innovative design solutions from initial concept stages to final construction, ensuring all work aligns with client objectives, technical parameters, industry standards and local building regulations.

·       Work seamlessly within interdisciplinary teams of interior designers, architects, landscape designers, graphic designers, lighting designers, and more that deliver projects ranging from conceptualization to complete detailed drawing packages, tender activities, and site inspection.

·       Conduct research and attend workshops and conferences to remain up-to-date with the latest design trends, software, and computer technologies

·       Work in a professionally organized manner, proactively planning, tracking, organizing and recording all work and time according to our studio systems.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant retail/commercial design (Preferred) or Residential

·       Passionate for innovative and creative design approaches in line with state-of-the-art industry trends.

·       Broad knowledge of relevant interior planning and design trends, materiality, up-to-date sustainability, media, digital and technological design innovations.

·       Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual) to convey, persuade, and describe design ideas in internal and client meetings.

·       Multi-task/work efficiently on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced design studio environment.

· Proficient with up-to-date design software such as Sketchup, Rhino, Revit, CAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, etc.

·       Proficient English language skills (verbal and written).
