SENIOR ARCHITECT (DATA CENTRE)

Job Summary:

To lead and deliver data centre projects from pre-design stage to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Enthusiastically lead and deliver data center projects globally, from architectural planning and design through to construction and handover.
• Lead the project from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Apply expertise in architectural and construction details to perform design development.
• Ensure design quality and compliance with all relevant codes.
• Liaise and coordinate with authorities, clients, and the consultant team for all project(s).
• Oversee on-site work progress and resolve any arising issues.
• Guide the project team in preparing deliverables based on project needs.
• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Proactively push boundaries by integrating emerging technologies and trends, including cloud computing, automation, and sustainability, into data center architectural and planning design.

Requirements:

• Relevant architectural qualifications and experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience practice in Architectural Firm. Project experience in Industrial/Data Centre would be preferred.
• Able to produce concept design, design development, working drawings & specifications.
• Intermediate, self-driven and motivated candidates can also be considered.
• Demonstrated understanding of modern data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, network and security systems.
• Experience in consultant selection and management to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Desired software proficiencies: Applicants are expected to possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with design and graphics software, specifically Revit, Rhino, Illustrator and Photoshop, among others.
• Able to adopt and adapt to diverse project requirements and work environments.
