Intermediate Architectural Designer

Role Description:

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Intermediate Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. This full-time hybrid role allows for a flexible work arrangement, enabling you to work partially from home. You will assist in architectural and interior design, develop concepts, prepare design plans, and ensure design integrity throughout our projects. You’ll work collaboratively with project teams, manage project timelines, and integrate technical solutions into your designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to develop architectural designs that meet project requirements and client expectations.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using architectural software and tools.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Assist in managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.
• Research building materials and construction methods to inform design decisions.
• Support the preparation of presentations and visualizations for client meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in architectural design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in architectural design or a related role.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts, building codes, zoning laws, basic building systems engineering, and sustainability principles.
• Basic project management skills with the ability to adhere to timelines effectively.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of human-centric design and cultural sensitivity is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing your design work and a range of projects is required.
