Project/Design Manager

Concept i is an award-winning interior design and architecture studio globally engaged in retail, commercial, and entertainment projects. The Project/Design Manager will work within our multi-disciplinary teams on international projects including; retail malls, mixed use developments, office, food and beverage, hospitality, experiential retail environments, special concept shops, restaurants, unique food and beverage destinations and more. The successful candidate will be highly versatile with qualifications Project Management or Design Management, and possible backgrounds in Architectrure and/or Interior Design. The position demands strong management, coordination, client and team interfacing skills.

Responsibilities

·       Act as the day-to-day interface with clients and internal/external project teams.

·       Work closely with Concept i firm leaders to sustain and build long term, successful client relationships. 

·       Manage client expectations through clear, concise communications, high quality response and meticulous coordination.

·       Drive projects according to agreed work scope, budgets, and schedules, proactively trouble shooting to pre-empt any problems, issues or contractual matters which need to be resolved, and actively coordinating their resolution.

·       Provide client interface, response, and communications, formulate, receive, and clarify project briefs, relay directions to the design team, and support client design presentations.

·       Ability to communicate critical design actions, responses and provide clear guidance to design teams, conveying all information exchanges and communications effectively to a successful outcome.

·       Provide project coordination services between all stakeholders/project team members through all stages of the project.

·       Mukti-task/work efficiently on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced commercial design studio environment.

·       Work in a highly organized manner, proactively planning, tracking, organizing, and recording all work and time according to our studio systems, producing monthly project performance reports.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Design Management, with possible backgrounds in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.

·       Minimum 8 years of experience in related sector/project types.

·       Excellent client management and liaison skills.

·       Knowledge of state-of-the-art design, construction, technology trends related to our sectors.

·       Proficient with up-to-date project management software and design software such as Sketchup, Rhino, Revit, CAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, etc.

·       Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).

·       Flexible for regular international travel at short notice.
