FF&E Designer

Position Description:

·         Assume the role of project FFE Designer or assistant to Senior designer to support projects assigned

·         Work with design team to determine all FFE requirements

·         Prepare Selection of all FFE and Artwork items for the project working with the design team through every stage of the design process.

·         Develop design concepts of all FFE for presentations and prepare presentations in powerpoint

·         Prepare mood boards of FFE and Artwork intent for a project together with materials samples etc.

·         Coordinate and source with suppliers to research FFE items for a project

·         Report to Senior FFE Designer to obtain approvals of all selections.

Qualifications:-

1. Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design

2. Over 7 years for experience in design and has international hospitality experiences

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills

2.  Time management ability

3.  Ability to create / provide design details of FFE items, have Flair in styling and selecting FFE items

4.  Proactive to search and understand use of materials and finishes

5.  Good written and spoken English

6.  Hard working and Team player

RELATED TASK:

·   Investigate and research background of each client’s company

·   Assist in preparing schedules and relevant information for the project based on the direction of the

Senior FFE designer.

·   Prepare a list of documents to form the design documentation and working drawings package

·   Prepare PowerPoint presentations.

·   Prepare sketch designs including perspectives material selections etc.

·   Prepare furniture, selections, photographs and sample materials for sample boards.

·   Prepare specifications and quantities of materials for the works.

·   Follow up details and questions regarding interior design documentation with the Site Coordinator,

supplier and sub-contractors as directed by the Senior FFE Design.

·   Attend site meetings as necessary.
