Design Director

We are appointing a Design Director to lead and define the architectural direction of the studio. This role demands intellectual rigor, decisive leadership, and the ability to establish a clear and uncompromising design vision across all projects.

Atelier of Architects is a design-led architectural practice working across private projects and selected commissions. As Design Director, you will define conceptual direction, ensure clarity of ideas, and uphold design excellence across all projects.

Responsibilities
– Design Leadership: Define and lead the conceptual direction of projects from early stages onward.
– Studio Direction: Guide the overall design language and architectural standards of the practice.
– Quality Control: Ensure spatial clarity, conceptual strength, and design integrity throughout all phases.
– Client Engagement: Present and articulate design narratives with confidence and precision.
– Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire the architectural team.
– Strategic Oversight: Balance design ambition with feasibility and project objectives.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
– Minimum 8–12 years of professional experience.
– Proven leadership in design and project delivery.
– Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual depth and built work.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
