Intermediate Lighting Designer

We are supporting the establishment of the Bangkok branch of Brandston Partnership Inc. (BPI) — an internationally recognized architectural lighting design consultancy founded in New York in 1966.

The Bangkok team will focus primarily on high-end hospitality projects — luxury hotels, resorts, branded residences, and premium F&B environments across the region.

This is a key early-stage position and an opportunity to help shape the studio culture from the ground up.

We are looking for a hands-on designer who is confident leading projects, sensitive to atmosphere and materiality, and comfortable navigating both concept and technical delivery — from first sketches through to site completion.

Key Responsibilities | หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

– Support luxury hospitality projects from concept through delivery
– Contribute to lighting narratives, mood studies, and spatial strategies
– Prepare lighting layouts, drawings, and technical documentation
– Assist in coordination with international teams, architects, and consultants
– Support site visits, mock-ups, aiming, and commissioning
– Contribute to building studio standards during the early growth phase

– สนับสนุนโครงการออกแบบแสงสว่างระดับโรงแรมหรูตั้งแต่แนวคิดจนถึงส่งมอบ
– มีส่วนร่วมพัฒนาแนวคิด แผนการจัดแสง และการสร้างบรรยากาศของพื้นที่
– จัดทำแบบแปลน รายละเอียด และเอกสารทางเทคนิค
– ประสานงานร่วมกับทีมต่างประเทศ สถาปนิก และที่ปรึกษา
– สนับสนุนงานหน้างาน การทำ mock-up การปรับมุมแสง และ commissioning
– มีส่วนร่วมในการวางมาตรฐานการทำงานของสตูดิโอในช่วงเริ่มต้น

Requirements | คุณสมบัติ

– 3–5 years’ experience in lighting design or a related discipline
– Experience in hospitality, mixed-use, or commercial projects preferred
– Strong design eye with sensitivity to contrast, materiality, and ambience
– Good technical documentation skills
– Comfortable managing tasks independently and supporting multiple projects
– Good communication skills in English and Thai
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and InDesign required
– Revit and rendering skills are a plus

– มีความเข้าใจเรื่องมิติของแสง ความคอนทราสต์ และบรรยากาศของพื้นที่
– สามารถจัดทำแบบและเอกสารทางเทคนิคได้อย่างถูกต้อง
– ทำงานได้อย่างเป็นระบบ และสนับสนุนหลายโครงการพร้อมกันได้
– สื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทยได้ดี
– ใช้งาน AutoCAD, PowerPoint และ InDesign ได้
– หากใช้ Revit หรือโปรแกรม Rendering ได้ จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
