Senior Interior Designer

Position Description:

·   Assume the role of assistant to creative director / project director to undertake design tasks assigned.

·   Project Team member assigned to develop design solutions for delegated interior projects.

·   Together with the senior designer develop design solutions for delegated interior projects.

·   Take instruction from senior designer for various tasks for a project.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design

2 Minimum 8 years experience in design

(Hospitality background is a MUST)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

2. Ability to carry out design and documentation, Hospitality background is a plus.

3. Ability to use PC and CAD

4. Good written and spoken English

5. Hard working

RELATED TASK:

·   Work with Director / Project Director to finalize the client brief for approval and sign off.

·   Investigate and research background of each client’s company

·   Assist in preparing schedules and relevant information for the project based on the direction of the

director.

·   Prepare a list of documents to form the design documentation and working drawings package

·   Revise the design based on the input from Director.

·   Forward sketch designs, details and materials of interior design and furniture for input by the CAD

team and 3D (if necessary).

·   Prepare PowerPoint presentations.

·   Prepare sketch designs including perspectives material selections etc.

·   Forward interior and M&E design concepts to Design Directors for approval.

·   Visit the site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the area.

·   Follow up details and questions regarding interior design documentation with the Site Coordinator,

supplier and sub-contractors as directed by the Senior Design.

·   Visit site to inspect the construction and furniture installation, ensure compliance with the design

specifications.

·   Attend site meetings as necessary.
